About Our Golf Club

The Los Angeles Chinese Golf Club got it's start in the early 1940's.  In 1947, we officially became the Los Angeles Chinese Golf Club.  Our club is a member club of the Association of International Golf Clubs  http://www.igolfclubs.org/  Other member clubs are located on the west coast as well as Canada.  In total, there are about 16 member clubs totaling over 1,000 members.   The Association of International Golf Clubs sponsors a Memorial Day Tournament and a Labor Day Tournament each year.  The location of the tournaments rotate between California, Oregon, and Victoria / Vancouver Canada.  The tournaments are open to all Association Club Members.  In addition, The Association holds "Special" tournaments every few years.  In 2025, a group of members traveled to Hawaii for a fun tournament.

In Los Angeles, our club has a standing Sunday morning tee time at El Prado Golf Course in Chino.  In addition, a group of our members play nearly every Wednesday at various local area golf courses.   We also have our own traveling tournaments - at least twice per year.  One October / November  fun outing in Las Vegas and one travel tournament in early spring.  In addition, our club holds several social events each year - including our annual Christmas party.

We're always looking for new members.  Don't let the name fool you, we have a diverse group of members.  If you love to get out and play golf (regardless of your skill level) and you are considering joining a golf club, contact us below.  We'll set up a Sunday for you to come out and join us and meet some of the members.
